We previously wrote about the MGM Summit in New York City on April 21st and 22nd. http://www.
I’m personally excited to meet over a hundred others from around the world who all have a practical, operational interest in how to optimize health and safety at some of the world’s biggest mass gatherings. As co-chair, I’ve had a sneak peak at the registrant list, and we have attendees from the UK, Europe, the Middle East, all over the United States, Canada (of course), and Australia.
A big reason to attend a conference is to network and meet face to face with experts in your field you might never otherwise get a chance to talk to. I’m looking forward to:
Wednesday Night:
There will be an informal reception at the Hudson Hotel (the conference hotel), likely at the Hudson Bar. https://www.morganshotelgroup.com/hudson/hudson-new-york/eat-drink/hudson-bar
Thursday night:
Everyone gets a NY Yankees Ticket and access to the Mohegan Sun Sports Bar to enjoy the game and for food/drinks/networking – NY Yankees vs. Oakland Athletics. http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/nyy/ticketing/spaces_mohegan_sports_bar.jsp
Friday night:
Nothing specific planned, likely a travel day and/or people want to spend it with friends exploring NYC.
Are you coming? Drop us a line if you are!
