Partnering with the Justice Institute of British Columbia

The Justice Institute of British Columbia’s (JIBC) Research Program is dedicated to promoting social change and social justice that helps keep communities safe through applied research with first responders, practitioners, policy makers, stakeholders, and service users.  It is a unique program in Canada as its research is designed from the standpoint of First Responders.  JIBC research is targeted to solve practical real-world problems in justice and public safety.

The JIBC’s vision of informing public policy, increasing public awareness, enhancing justice and public safety curriculum, and leveraging learning technologies and methodologies will complement the work of the MGM Interest Group as well as add valuable contributions to literature surrounding mass gathering events.
